Today, we’re excited to announce our acquisition of Haystacks, an AI-powered growth and sales intelligence startup.
As part of the acquisition, Haystacks' Founder and CEO Bo Mohazzabi has been appointed Vice President of Go-To-Market, where he will lead sales, growth, and customer strategy while helping shape our product roadmap. The acquisition marks a strategic move to accelerate the development of our autonomous Growth Agent, a significant step towards our vision of living interfaces.
The Growth Equation
Bo Mohazzabi brings a unique combination of AI product leadership and hands-on sales execution to Coframe.
"Bo has done this before — twice — at companies that defined how modern teams think about experimentation and behavioral analytics," said Josh Payne, our CEO and Founder. "He knows what it takes to build great AI products and help enterprises adopt cutting-edge technology. But we're not just getting a GTM leader. We're getting a founder who built an AI company from scratch and chose Coframe as the place to build the best AI growth agent in the industry."
Before founding Haystacks, Mohazzabi was an early GTM leader at Optimizely, where he emerged as a top revenue producer and became head of the company's third industry vertical. He then brought this expertise to Amplitude, where he drove upmarket expansion into new industries, helping enterprises adopt behavioral analytics as a key growth pillar. Shortly after, he joined LinkedIn's co-founder & CTO at KarmaCheck to lead sales and growth, scaling them over 50x in just 18 months fueling their Series A.
AI-Driven Experimentation and Personalization
Mohazzabi's move to Coframe represents a full-circle moment for the experimentation industry. At Optimizely, he helped hundreds of companies adopt A/B testing and personalization, bringing on the company's largest customer at the time and catalyzing the development of the industry's first server-side testing product. Our first multi-agent system now handles the entire experimentation and personalization process autonomously: ideating, designing, engineering, QA, and analyzing results…the very workflow Mohazzabi spent a decade helping enterprises navigate.
"I've worked with hundreds of companies on A/B testing, personalization, and growth," said Mohazzabi. "Coframe solves the fundamental challenge we hit scaling Optimizely: to see big conversion wins, companies need to increase testing velocity and quality every month, as each experiment produces compounding insights that inform the next. But that requires more designers, engineers, and analysts that most companies cannot sustain. This problem multiplies with personalization, which requires many more variations. Coframe eliminates this bottleneck by giving superpowers to existing teams. Customers are already seeing well in excess of 10x increase in variation volume and conversions at a fraction of the cost."
Building an AI-Native Growth Engine
The acquisition also marks the launch of our initiative to build a fully AI-native growth engine — one designed to replace the labor-intensive sales playbooks of the past.
The technical DNA is a natural fit: both Haystacks and Coframe are built on the premise that AI can unlock growth outcomes humans can't reach manually. At Haystacks, Bo, alongside former Optimizely and Amplitude engineers, discovered that most sales and marketing teams weren't utilizing open-source platforms like GitHub, where technical buyers were actively signaling intent. By applying LLM-driven code and behavior analysis, Haystacks built AI agents that analyzed millions of user profiles alongside issue/comments to generate technical outreach. This showed exactly how Haystacks' customers could solve each specific issue, something traditional tools couldn't detect, let alone act on. That ability to spot untapped growth opportunities and build AI-powered GTM systems to autonomously act on them is exactly what transfers to Coframe.
"Bo is a rare find. He doesn't just bring sales leadership. He brings a founder's perspective on how to build AI growth systems that scale," said Payne. "By building this AI-native growth engine, we're moving away from the legacy model of throwing headcount at the revenue problem. That efficiency dividend goes straight to what matters most: building the best products and offering the most competitive pricing for our customers."
Rather than following the traditional model, Bo and our team are doubling down on GTM engineering: a lean, elite team whose operational efficiency is passed directly to customers.
From Digital Transformation to Agentic Transformation
This acquisition arrives at a critical inflection point for the enterprise landscape. If the last decade was defined by "Digital Transformation," the next will be defined by "Agentic Transformation," and the skills required to guide enterprises through that shift are fundamentally different.
"Selling AI is not the same as selling traditional software," said Mohazzabi. "It requires deep technical fluency and the ability to show executives how these models drive business outcomes. Having built this over the past few years, I now see that the playbooks that worked over the past ten years don't translate to this new era, and we need leaders who have operated on both sides of the table."
About Coframe
Coframe was founded by AI researcher and entrepreneur Josh Payne, who previously co-founded Autograph with Tom Brady, scaling it to a $2B+ valuation in under three years. The acquisition comes as Coframe hits a major growth stride. In the last six months, the company has generated over $150M in incremental revenue for customers including Replit and Dropbox. Coframe has also partnered with OpenAI to train vision models specifically for UI code generation.
